Valentine’s Day is usually a day for couples, although it’s usually the man spending his money to get the woman gifts, chocolates, and going on trips or dinners. However, you should surprise that special someone with some valentines gifts for him. If, each year, he’s the one making things special for you, you should say thank you by giving him a special gift this year.
One way you can turn the tables is making all the arrangements ahead of time. Call you favorite restaurant (ahead of time as Valentine’s is always packed) and make a reservation. Try to prepay for the meal or arrange it with the management to charge your card, so he doesn’t have to worry about paying for dinner. You can also arrange something special like a serenade or a moonlight horse and carriage drive. While this is corny, you’ll know if your guy is the type of person to appreciate such things.
You can also arrange the usual gifts – teddy bears, chocolates, wine etc. but there are many types of stores that sell Valentines gifts for him. You can go online and find these stores. Most of the time, these are generic mens gifts like ties and socks, but you can surely do better than that. If he has a hobby, like computers or golf, then you can tailor a Valentine’s gift that he will love. You can get him a new pair of golf gloves, that special golf club he’s always been wanting, or perhaps tickets to a golf tournament nearby to see his favorite players.
